Key-note speaker. Breakout-session
presenter. Executive coach.
Jay Wilkinson brings a lot to
the table, whether in front of a convention
crowd, at the head of a breakout session, or
with a small team of top executives. The lessons
learned from his famous father and successfully
implemented in Jays own life as well as
the lives of countless others whom Jay has touched
are transformational, both in their message
and their outcome.
Jay offers three distinct presentations,
tailored to fit any industry or organization
and any size audience.
Winning the Wilkinson Way
Bud Wilkinson believed that the
will to prepare is more important than the will
to win, but in that belief, the legendary
University of Oklahoma football coach won a
record 47 straight games, a mark still unequalled
to this day.
In Buds mind, Winning
the Wilkinson Way was not as much about
the final destination, as it was about the journey
to reach the final goal. According to Buds
son, Jay Wilkinson, Winning the Wilkinson Way
is about a process in which preparation, dedication,
effort and sacrifice, both for the cause and
for the good of the team, are what matter most
and that success is a natural and inevitable
extension of these processes.
Inspired by a series of 47 letters
Bud wrote to Jay during his undergraduate and
graduate years of university study, Winning
the Wilkinson Way offers a clear framework and
pathway to enhancing performance and creating
more effective and efficient group dynamics.
At the center of Winning the Wilkinson
Way is the equation 4 + 7 = SUCCESS
where the Four Core Principles of Transformational
Leadership coupled with the Seven Steps to Gaining
Greatness provide both the fundamentals and
the execution to achieving transformational
change both in the lives of individuals as well
as the dynamics of groups, organizations and
companies.
Gaining Greatness
What does it take to be great?
What goes into becoming a truly transformational
leader at the top of any organization or company?
Greatness is not alone defined
by exceptional performance under exceptional
circumstances. Greatness is universally achievable
through vales, attitudes, preparation and perseverance.
Each individual has the potential for gaining
greatness and Jay Wilkinson guides his audience
along a path to attain uncommon success with
integrity and a humble manner.
Executive Coaching
CEOs, executive teams and top
performers all have benefitted from the wisdom,
insight and enthusiasm of a morning, afternoon
or full day spent with Jay Wilkinson. Jay weaves
anecdotes from his football career as well as
the unparalleled coaching tenure of his father,
Bud Wilkinson, together with personal experiences
and insights from his own three decade career
as a top business executive.
As with any good coach, Jay helps
his players understand their personal strengths
and challenges and how to the good of the team
supersedes the good of the individual. Youll
come away with a great appreciation for the
difference between being a transactional leader,
focused on outcome alone, and being a transformational
leader who succeeds and inspires at the same
time.
